An update from Fort Bend County Animal Services

The following is an update from Fort Bend County Animal Services. We appreciate the hard-working men & women who serve tirelessly to provide compassionate, quality care to the animals of Fort Bend County. We hope you will take a look at their list of needs and support them as they support our displaced pets & animals.

The Shelter took in many animals from the floods in 2016 and did not euthanize any that could be returned to their owners or adopted out after a significant period of time. The shelter used its network of fosters through SOCA-FBC and generous community members who stepped up to foster during this event. The shelter staff are well aware of the difficulties across the county during this emergency event as they have actively been involved in many animal rescues in the affected communities. Please be assured that the high standards of care and compassion will be maintained throughout this current emergency situation.

If you wish to assist at this time, or are aware of people wanting to assist with fostering, bottle feeding and so on contact: or 281-342-1512.
