Texas Veterans Commission grants $200,000 to Fort Bend County

Fort Bend County receives $200,000 from Texas Veterans Commission.

Earlier this month, Judge KP George and Commissioner Meyers were pleased to accept, on behalf of Fort Bend County, a $200,000 grant from the Texas Veterans Commission. TVC Director Kevin Barber was on hand to deliver the grant and meet with some of our local veterans that were in attendance for the ceremony .

This grant will assist our Fort Bend County Social Services and Fort Bend County Veterans Service offices in providing much needed services to our veteran population.

Fort Bend County is home to thousands of veterans, and Commissioner Meyers is eternally grateful for the sacrifices they've made for our great nation, and also for all the great contributions they've made to this great county.

Commissioner Meyers extends a huge "Thank You" to the Texas Veterans Commission, and Director Kevin Barber , for helping us meet the needs of our great veteran population.
