This week, Commissioner Meyers and Congressman Pete Olson toured the on-going Buffalo Bayou desilting operation that Fort Bend County is currently undertaking.
The work is progressing well, with approximately 500 truckloads of silt a day being removed.
Fort Bend County is committed to ensuring our residents are protected from flooding, and Commissioner Meyers is committed to continuing his advocacy for flood mitigation and protection.
Thank you to all who have been dealing with the constant truck traffic throughout the course of this project. We promise that Cinco Park and the bayou trails will be fixed once the desiliting is complete.
