As another component to the mobility improvements being made in the SH 99 / Grand Parkway corridor, the Commissioners Court voted today (Tuesday 6/11) to approve the work for the management & engineering for right turn lanes on Cinco Ranch Boulevard at SH 99. When complete, these will add dedicated right turn lanes on both the eastbound and westbound side of Cinco Ranch Boulevard as illustrated in the map below.
Last night, Commissioner Meyers attended the monthly board meeting of Cinco MUD 12 and was happy to report that the MUD agreed to work in partnership with us to fund a large portion of the costs of constructing these turn lanes - up to $600,000! Cinco MUD 12 covers the area near that intersection that includes LaCenterra. This is another amazing opportunity for us to work together as part of our great relationship! Special thanks to the board directors and attorneys who supported this deal! Work is already underway on design and we'll be on an expedited timeline to get these new turn lanes built within a year!
